Listening to the news this morning I heard them talking about some things that can help you get a job easier right now.  Along with shaving your beard, updating your resume, and treating a job search like a full time job, every day going out too look from 9-5, they also included a tip I had not thought of- to lose your beer belly.  Apparently overweight people, even if more qualified sometimes get passed up because the employer thinks they can not take care of things, including themselves. I can see the logic in this, when I was overweight I was sloppy.

After signing up to take golf lessons I decided that I needed to make sure that I had the proper gear.  I went ahead and got myself a nice set of clubs and then started shopping around for all of the other things that I would need such as shoes, clothing, and accessories.  Before I knew it I had purchased several pieces of clothing, including some Galvin Green waterproof gear and several pairs of shorts to wear while I was playing golf.  Now that I have got everything that I need I am hoping that my lessons go well and that I enjoy playing the game.
