Once I was with my cousin on this cruise. Both of us had both been recently dumped by our girlfriends, so we took one of those singles cruises. They had lots of good shows.  One was this magician who did some pretty neat tricks. He told us afterwards, that if we really wanted to impress the girls on the ship we should learn magic tricks. That would put us above all the other guys who throw corny lines at them. So he taught us a couple of quick and easy mentalist tricks in exchange for a couple shots of whiskey. Those tricks really did work for us.
