The Nintendo DS has been a great console over the course of its lifetime as the best selling mobile gaming platform for this generation of consoles but the nintendo DSi has made the DS even better. I think that the Nintendo DS can become the best console for a variety of reasons. One of the major reasons that the Nintendo DS has been a really good device is because the device itself has the r4i kernel which is pretty good. The R4i kernel lets you upload all kinds of homebrew and other third party apps to the Nintendo DS to use.
