This year the parents and teachers at our school have decided to include a field trip in our curriculum. There were lots of different suggestions like the Grand Canyon and the Empire State Building. However as suggestions and ideas poured out we settled on the fact that we did not want anything high risk or too populated. The safety of the children is of course top priority. This is what helped us settle on Williamsburg. It is educational, entertaining and just large enough for us to keep track of everyone. Without any miss, the issue of budget came about. Luckily there are many different vacation packages in Williamsburg that can be chosen from.  We ended up picking something that would allow the children to get a good look around the historic place as well as include accommodations and meals. Hopefully this year’s field trip will be a success that will lead to other similar events next year.
